Hi I got an Amazon Voucher for 150€ as a little present from my co workers,

and wanted to buy something with it.

I have a house full of stuff already,

ssd;hdd;ram;cases;servers;laptops;tablets;nas;phones;microphones;cameras;speakers;rgb light strips;wifi ap;headset;bluetooth headset;mechanical keyboard;

I cant think of anything to buy there to be honest, its a shit store, but having the voucher already activated on my account I have to spend on something, or else my pocket starts itching 😄

so any ideas on something useful like a self stirring cup or idk , anything that has at least purpose

Amazon has a ton of products. If you already feel satisficed with your tech stuff how about buying something else? Some shoes, clothes, kitchen utensils (a knife, frying pan, etc) or whatever.

Some things I have recently bought or are planning on buying:

  • A Philips toothbrush. I replaced my old, super cheap Oral B toothbrush with an ultrasonic one from Philips. Much quieter, has a pressure sensor and feels like it cleans a lot better. Highly recommended. I've heard good things about the more expensive Oral B ones as well but honestly, even a super cheap electric toothbrush is way better than the manual type.
  • A whetstone for knife sharpening. I took food every day and sharp knives is essential for cooking. It makes it so much easier. Right now I got one of those cheap knife sharpening machines but I've seen that the results when you sharpen with a whetstone are far better, so I am planning on learning that.
  • Gardening equipment. I recently bought a large window flower box that I am growing basil, thyme and parsley in. Fresh herms are great for cooking and all of the ones I mentioned can grown indoors at your window.
  • Weights. Ever since lockdown rules became harsher here in Sweden I have been unable to go to the gym as often. I would work out far more often if I had some decent weights to use at home. Some dumbbells with adjustable weights is all you need.
  • I bought a keyboard a while ago. Always wanted to be able to play an instrument. I played the piano when I was a kid but then stopped in middle school. It's been pretty fun picking it up again.
  • Now that it has gotten warmer I have started cycling again. But my cycle is pretty worn down so I did some basic maintenance on it. Had to fix a flat tyre, lube the chain, adjust the back wheel, etc. If I had some money burning a hole in my pocket I would probably get a bicycle basket and maybe a new seat because mine is rock hard.
