iPhone passcode

I found an iPhone in an ewast bin but it has a password, i checked the IMEI but find my iPhone is on, what can I do.

Basically nothing as unless you have the original apple ID and pascode the phone is useless beond parts

Try and figure out who’s it was and give it back to them..?

 

My 5 was stolen years ago, it had find my iPhone on it and is pending an erase. Probs in a landfill somewhere which is such a waste. If you can get it back to its owner, they can at least unlock it then sell it or give it to someone to keep it out of the landfill.
