Facebook keeps giving me "Access Denied You are not allowed to access this page at this time."

Every time I try and log into my FB, it gives me: "Access Denied. You are not allowed to access this page at this time." The only way I can get in is by resetting my password, but the instant I log out I get that Access Denied thing again. I don't want to have to reset my password every single time I log in and I don't leave it signed in. I wouldn't mind so much, but I'm currently selling a bunch of stuff on Marketplace, so being able to get in a couple of times a day without major inconvenience is kind of important.

 

 Anyone else having this problem? Is this a bug?

its definitely a bug. i see my login on that page every time it pops up and I click login again and its fine.

Probably some addon or setting in your browser that messes things up. 

Try using a different browser without any add-ons and see if that works. 

 

I can't find anyone else who has gotten that message from Facebook. Are you sure it's a Facebook message? Could you please post a screenshot of it?

Me too. Started yesterday on my laptop. However, can access FB through over devices.

Hmmm... I am experiencing the same. I have totally failed to login - I am using Opera VPN, however using the same browser page (Opera) on the same laptop, my friend is able to log into his account. Here's a screenshot

Same thing for Messenger - and I can't reset my password either. Anyone with an idea?

Not a lasting fix but if I turn off my VPN it works fine but need to investoagte more on this - odd!

once i turn on my vpn,that's the feedback i get once i try to login my Facebook. very strange

1. Disable VPN

2. Sign In to Facebook

3. Enter 2FA code

4. Save browser

5. Enable VPN

Thanks, but then my country disabled Facebook. 

So I can't access the site without a VPN

Actually, I have found a solution I was using my phone number to log in but when I changed to Email it worked. Thanks Guys anyone using a phone number to log in can change to email assured it will work. Thanks guys for the help rendered I'm very grateful.

Turning off my Avast VPN to log into Facebook works for me, too. Once logged in, I turn my VPN back on. Voila.
