Bykski Aorus 3080/3090 master/extreme full coverage waterblock does not cool caps nor power stages?

Hill160881

Like the title says the new Bykski full coverage waterblock for the 3080/3090 aorus master/extreme  does not cool the power stages or the caps like the stock cooler does. Is this a problem? Most likely not but the factory air cooler does cool these components so...

This is most likely fine for crypto mining as the power is running at 60% however just a warning to others.

I would upload a video but it’s to big and I am not hosting a 20sec video for this.

Yes it is a problem. It is why the byski blocks are now in general to be avoided as they skip IMPORTANT components for the longevity of the card. People have already killed cards a plenty with them when overclocking them.

The mosfets are being covered, and that's the only part that matters.  Caps and inductors are passive components and don't need cooling.

Why would you buy an Aorus Extreme card to replace the cooler lmao?

Why would I buy any other cheaper card when they are all the same price on eBay? A Zotac and the top end cards are all the same price. You are laughing at what you don’t know. The stock cooler is not capable of cooling the memory and the stock thermal pads are defective. So ya many reasons and all are good ones. I have posts about the pads in this section. I also have 6 of these cards now and all but one are defective.
