R7 1700 Overclocking guide wanted.

Go to solution Solved by SupaKomputa,

Just run Ryzen master and play with the numbers.

I suggest for voltage try 1.35-1.4v.

Start the speed at 3.7 move slowly till around 4ghz until it stable.

Anyone have a guide to overclocking/downclocking a ryzen 7 1700 non x that i could use?

Personally I suggest 3.7ghz is the sweet spot. You can run at that speed with very minimal voltage but if you even want to hit 3.8 or 3.9 you have to add a ton of voltage.

what about downclocking some of the cores to keep the temps better till i get a new cooler?

I see no point of downclocking.

If you want a low temp, try running the power plan as power saving.
