Posted March 28, 2014 I don't know whether they're any good, but these fans are on Massdrop for $9.99 + shipping: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/sharkoon-blade-fans Please let me know if you've got any experience with those fans. I have a mouse from Sharkoon (the Fireglider) and I am very satisfied with it. Here's a promotional video from Sharkoon: My personal rig: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/139780-zalman-my-first-build/ I use it partially as a Hackintosh. Don't judge me. Posted March 28, 2014 Author I've never heard of MassDrop before. Is it safe and how does it work? They buy in large quantities (bulk) for consumers to get products for a cheaper price, that's also why the price gets lower when more people buy. And yes, it is trusted and safe. For more info on Massdrop, you can go here: http://www.massdrop.com/how-it-works My personal rig: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/139780-zalman-my-first-build/ I use it partially as a Hackintosh. Posted March 28, 2014 Ya, Massdrop is safe, but it does take a very long time to get your product. I bought a headset via Massdrop 2 weeks ago, and have yet to receive it. I paid considerably less for it than I would have anywhere else, but be aware of the shipment time. Once the "drop" is complete, they then put the order in with that company and the bulk order is then shipped to Massdrop's warehouse. From the warehouse, it is then repackaged, and shipped to the individual customers. Massdrop is essentially a middle man. I've never heard of MassDrop before. Is it safe and how does it work? Posted March 29, 2014 I would get into it, but shipping adds on for each product.... So each fan is technically 9.99 (at last drop) + 8.47 = 18.46 for each fan.... I mean it shouldn't be too hard to send just one package for a couple of fans. At that price I might as well just get more Cougar CFDs. Though I really want to try one of these. You only pay shipping per two fans. When you buy you can add one fan for $10, even when the first fan is still higher than that and you still pay the same amount of shipping cost. If you buy more than two though, you will indeed pay extra for shipping. My personal rig: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/139780-zalman-my-first-build/ I use it partially as a Hackintosh. Posted March 30, 2014 Are these static pressure fans, I need some for my radiator and was wondering if these would work? Yes they are, from the specs (don't always trust them, but they are a good benchmark for what they'll be) they are excellent radiator fans that are dead silent.
