I want to upgrade to an m.2 ssd but my mobo doesent have any m.2 slots because its old (ASUS P8H77-M) but i found this AXAGON PCEM2-N PCI-EXPRESS - NVME M.2 ADAPTER.

i question is if it would work or not.

It will allow you to use the NVMe drive, but you will not be able to boot from it.

If you want to boot from an NVMe drive, you'll need a newer motherboard (and CPU and RAM by consequent).
