Been thinking of getting a G502 lightspeed but I have some questions

bungusboy81

So I've been thinking of getting a G502, because I've heard a lot of good things about it, but I've also heard the constant ruckus about the double clicking and GHUB being shit and whatnot, so I'm a little worried to drop the cash on it. I also have questions about gaming mice, since I've never had one before, only normal mice. My current mouse is a logitech M510.

1. Do higher polling rates and lower input latency get rid of stuttery gameplay?

2. Is the double clicking issue common?

3. Is the double clicking issue easy to fix if it does happen to me?

4. Is the G502 carpal tunnel friendly like the M510 and M705?

5. Is it easy to adjust the DPI or sensitivity of the mouse so I can get it to be the same or at least close to my current mouse's DPI? (probably around 1000)

Thank you in advance!

1. That's your pc, not your mouse

2. Yes and no. It's luck of the draw

3. Logitech warranty is great, turn around is about 1 week

4. Dependent on you, and how you hold your mouse. Get a wrist rest if you need

5. Yes, kinda. Logitech software kinda sucks but it does the job.

Some thoughts on #3.

I had a nightmare of a time getting Logitech to replace my double clicking G703. The replacement then started double clicking about 6 months later. The replacement I just bought outright because I wasn't jumping through all those hoops again.

I don't understand the GHub hate, TBH. I set the DPI once, its like that forever and I never have to touch it.

What's another similar wireless gaming mouse that's less... awful sounding?

Honestly, majority of that is nitpicking. I've had plenty of logitech mice without issue, and a few which have.

Razer viper is another good wireless mouse.
