here is my suggestion.

here is linus's video on it

I've had the chance to use it for a couple hours. I really dislike that it's glossy, but it is still my favorite thin-bezel.

Any recommendations for no/tiny bezel monitors to have side by side for design work?

Dell U2414H is the thinnest bezel monitor out there (about twice as thin as the relatively thin bezel acers and aocs people are recommending here)

The U2414H also has a better color gamut and a ton more adjustments (swivel, tilt, rotate etc..) that the others don't have along with a VESA mount (which the others don't have either)

You are however paying about a 100$ premium (270$ for U2414H) to get a much thinner bezel, better color accuracy and a lot more adjustments as well as the option to use a VESA mount.

  • 5 weeks later...

hawaiims is correct, the Dell U2414H is what you want. It's the only true thin border one. The rest is a glass on top of a screen, and calls it "thin". You still have the same borders. Also it's not glossy so that you can focus on your work, and not fight reflections.

If you want thinner than that, then you are looking at video wall displays, and those are very costly (and designed for commercial spaces, and you need to contact for a quote, as they don't sale by the unit and needs to configured based on what you are trying to do).

I guess I should ask what size are you looking for, do you want multiple monitors?  Do you prefer landscape or portrait?

If you plan on going with portrait a good option is the LG34UM95, but if you want just landscape than the LG34UM65 would suffice.  However the UM65 has no vesa mount and only has DVI, HDMI, and Displayport!   It's also HD in 21x9 so resolution is low, not worth it especially $300 gets you QHD, thunderbolt, USB Ports, and Vesa support.
