No it will not, you will need a last gen board, forgive me as I can't remember the chipsets Intel keep releasing but the newest 500 series boards are for 12th gen only

Rocket Lake (11th gen) is socket 1200 and is for 500 series boards, Alder Lake (Socket 1700/12th gen) is going to require a new board.

10th gen will work in the z590 without bios updates.

11th gen will not work in 400 series boards without a bios update first.

well then its a YES it will work. the 10th and 11th gen CPUs from intel use the LGA1200 socket. 

 

and in fact intel will be doing a "mod mondays" stream today in roughly 45 minutes from this comment so you can ask them yourself

many motherboard makers like EVGA and others have actually not released their 500 series boards until intel released the 11th gen CPU to the global market and not just to the european market.
