It's likely that it's not a fire hazard.

It may not be a fire hazards but it can't damage rest of the PC right? If i were to run like this for some time? And if it is something damaged on GPU can it get much worse with time?

Also thank you and @Mark Kaine very much for your time and help! I pray that this is only PSU fault though. Will update once the new PSU is installed.

I don't think so,unless the problem is the power supply.

Yes.

No problem,  well these things aren't usually easy to fix or even pin point- theoretically- on the other hand it's good to replace the psu as that is *usually* the only reliable way to find, and eliminate hardware issues,  by swapping parts.  So if you still have these issues after swapping psu  -  let's hope you don't  ... then it's really pretty safe to say it's the gpu (or motherboard.... unfortunately... but gpu is much more likely)

So yeah fingers crossed and give us an update once you changed the psu.

Also I disagree with  @Vishera in this case,  since we don't want for certain what's actually wrong, this is or can be a fire hazard,  what if there's a short on the gpu or something,  how wouldn't it be? And yes, same thing for psu, motherboard, etc... the thing is , usually what happens some cables or connectors get fried, and what happens then is everyone's guess  🤷‍♀️

That's also why i recommended from the start to replace the psu, you have to find out what's causing the issues, or just stop using the hardware altogether,  imho...

I mean sure it's not fun and cost money,  but just doing nothing and hoping for the best wouldn't be very clever, would it?  😅

So one question, because right now even with power limit set to -50% and core and memory clocks turned down a whole lot display is going dark almost the moment desktop is loaded. Sometimes it works a while, but almost always goes dark now. New PSU is on it's way, but it won't be here until thursday. My question is, is it safe to use it and try to get my most important files from there and is there anything i can do in order to at least use it for classes? @Mark Kaine @Vishera

Well, that's difficult to say,  probably it's not getting enough power now, try maybe with 70% ,but I really wouldn't use it until you can try the new psu tbh.

So, after installing new PSU things are... a bit more stable i guess? When i have -10% power limit and core clock - 200, memory clock -100 it seems to work ok sometimes it works well in FurMark sometimes display is flashing, coils are squeaking when lanuching some games. But when i remove all the limitations it sometimes goes dark all the way to reset when runing FurMark sometimes not i really don't know why is it that way, but all the time it behaves strange in FurMark, like this fur ring is getting glitchy and weird. So does that mean there is still something up with GPU? Is there anything i can do to test it more, before having to buy a new GPU? It's just that i want to be sure if it is GPU before i buy new one. @Mark Kaine @Vishera (if tagging you annoys you, let me know please i don't want to annoy you!)

What power supply are you using?

It seems like your problem was both the power supply and the GPU.

I mean now it seems a bit more stable now, but there are still issues that were there before installing new PSU, like display is still going black sometimes, sometimes i have to reset it sometimes not so now i can be sure that GPU is faulty as well right?

So i really don't get it. During FurMark tests GPU behaves wierd and sometimes display goes dark, but when i try to play games that were consistently crashing it they just work. I want to avoid situations where suddenly my GPU will just give up and die on me, rendering my PC useless for few days, but also i want to be really sure that this is GPU's fault. Can i somehow test it further?
