Are Cpu's not getting faster?

I'm just wondering where you're getting your info,  when I look at GN newer chips, especially Ryzen always have huge gains,  but when I look at UB all chips are kinda the same,  most expensive, newest Ryzen, maybe ~ 2% better than some big old no ht intel... so I'm kinda thinking before you tested this all by yourself you can't really say that.
