After the photo I did a better job cleaning. Didn’t hurt leaving it upside down, kinda adds character.

Not gonna lie I have been upgrading a pre built from Cyber Power. I’m not 100% sure on the power.

It looks like the cables of a 80+ smart unit.

But I may be wrong.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Moved to Cooling and cleaned some off-topic posts. Do not backseat moderate.

In future these personal updates are better suited as posts on your profile, but seeing as how there are a few people replying and some discussion taking place it can stay open.

It doesn't matter which way the logo is facing, but if the cooler logo being upside down bothers you unscrew it and flip it around. You won't need to reapply the thermal paste if you're just remounting it.

At least it's a pretty easy fix. Plenty of people have finished building a PC only to find the I/O shield floating in the motherboard box and had to disassemble half the system to install it 😛

Was the fan pre-installed or not? The 212 I've installed had pre-installed fan. Which would then mean that you had some effort to make this upside-down as the fan is blowing to correct direction.

The fan was clipped to the heat sink so I removed that before installing. I wasn’t paying attention until I went to put the fan back on.

I believe it adds character to it. It wouldn’t be anything I built if something was either attached in a ghetto way that works or upside down.

Also thank you for moving this! I forgot there was a sub forum for this...
