Yeah , one the xperia z , from what i read it's sprayed with water repellent coating but not the motherboard and internal stuff , but still it's a good begining !

The problem would be the fact that you would need to coat your entire phone. So it would require that you take it all the way apart so self application is nearly impossible for the average consumer, but if this was implemented in production that would be amazing.

Liquipel works by a micro coating being applied, this is applied everywhere, where it's possible for water to reach. This is done by the coating being applied through high pressure. In the end it's like a cover for all the electronics, but from inside so water can flow straight through without touching any electronics.

Would you say it's worth it for the Note 2? I have one and I had seen the tech before but I wasn't so sure on how reliable it actually was. But you have had personal experience, any thoughts?

They should sell a spray for people who water cool there pc. Just an added layer of protection beyond things like compression fittings.
