LG TV constantly crashes when switching programmes or going on apps.

It is an lg 55UB820V.

The TV is around 6 years old and it has started getting slowly a couple of months ago. It struggles with switching channels (didn’t happen before) and often crashes and switches off or freezes if you change too many at once.

Any way to fix it? And what parts should be replaced?

Thanks!

Well, first, that sounds like a software issue, so there's probably nothing you could fix or replace anyways. That aside, you'd probably spend more trying to fix it than the TV is worth. 6 years for a TV is an eternity now. That's a good, long life, honestly.

The TV part is probably fine. BUT the smart software is probably just crappy. You could try an external box/stick like a Fire Stick or Roku, that would probably be the only way to kinda fix the issue.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
