NZXT H210 + ryzen 5600x

Whats up folks,

I am using stock cooler for now ( wraith cooler ), Temperatures :

  1. BIOS - 42°C
  2. Windows normal mode (internet) - 52°C
  3. Gaming - 74°C +-   after 5 min, I think could go like 80°C

Now I have small PC case, and GPU 1060 Rog 3 vent, so there is not possible water cooling for now, but I don't wanna buying for same price middle range passive cooler.

I read on some forum people buying for example Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO , because of noise reduction but It almost same as stock cooler.

On official web page they are saying in specification  MAX temperature 95°C.

My question is they are know, this processor will be overheat as usually and is normal have it with stock cooler like 80°C or I should to buy at least middle range cooler ?

I don't wanna shorter my lifetime of processor.

I solved it for now in BIOS I turned off Overclocking, my temperature is 50°C even in gaming with stock cooler.

I want to hear your option and what I should to do in order overclock him back to set up better performance but not kill my life time processor.

Also I am using the base paste what was on cooler , maybe If I could bought some better thermal paste ?

Or Should I buy small water cooling with one 120mm vent ? is it worth ?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND YOUR ANSWERS.

As long as you are producing more than 75 watts, then most third-party coolers are better than the box cooler. And you are probably producing 75 watts or greater of heat.

120MM radiators are not much better than a good air cooler, and they cost about the same, plus they take a lot more work to get installed. So unless you are a big fan of the aesthetics (the looks) of a small radiator, then just buy a air cooler small enough to fit in your case. Also I would really suggest putting a small block on the right hand side of the GPU to stop the sag and give it a little more room to breath. It would still be choked, but better than before.

Everyone just buys the Hyper 212 Evo because it is a little below decent, but really cheap and by far the best seller of any third party cooler, I think ever.

Yes your CPU will begin to throttle more as you go over 80C, and will likely power itself off to prevent damage by overheating after 95C.

Fuck you scalpers, fuck you scammers, fuck all of you jerks that charge way too much to tech-illiterate people.

Unless I say I am speaking from experience or can confirm my expertise, assume it is an educated guess.

Current setup: Ryzen 5 3600, MSI MPG B550, 2x8GB DDR4-3200, RX 5600 XT (+120 core, +320 Mem), 1TB WD SN550, 1TB Team MP33, 2TB Seagate Barracuda Compute, 500GB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair 4000D Airflow, 650W 80+ Gold. Razer peripherals.

Also have a Alienware Alpha R1: i3-4170T, GTX 860M (≈ a 750 Ti). 2x4GB DDR3L-1600, Crucial MX500

I mean, I don't wanna spend the same price for cooler that I could buy Ram memory, I think is not totally worth that(equal).

So your suggestion is to buy for example Hyper 212 Evo  =  price/ cooler attribute ?

I personally would not suggest the Hyper 212 Evo because of the severe lack of aesthetics. At least the Wraith Stealth is all black. The Hyper 212 Evo in stock form has a shiny silver top that can produce a unpleasant reflection or shine.

okay, I found  AMD Wraith Prism from the second hand, I will probably take it, benchmark shows like -20 °C            (20$ +-)

What do you think

The wraith Prism is designed for Ryzen 9 processors, so yeah it does better. But you really didn't have legitimate problems with thermals. Sure they were creeping up on as problems, but as long as you remove dust every couple months it would have never actually been a problem.

BTW the Wraith Prism uses different mounts than what the wraith stealth and spire use. You need to fish out the two clips and four screws that were attached to your motherboard when you bought it, that you removed to put your current cooler on. Also you will need new thermal paste.
