Upgrading a 1050 Ti Build

Hi Everyone!

(This is my first time posting on the ltt forums so please excuse me if i do something wrong)

In January I got gifted my first ever PC and I love it. I've never been able to game before so its really helped me.

But after having used it for two and a half months, I still love it, but i'm starting to wonder what my next move should be in getting more performance out of it.

The specs are:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600

Nvidia GTX 1050 ti

1 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHz RAM

Asus PRIME A320M-K Motherboard

Ace 500W PSU

Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD

This system is running Windows 10 and i'm mainly looking to get higher fps on Forza Horizon 4 and Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Also, my budget isn't huge but price isn't the focus of this post, i just want to know what should be the next logical step in upgrading this system.

Thanks so much for your help in advance,

YourMothereee

Don't! Praise to god you still have a decent GPU right now.

Wait a while before gpu prices return to normal.

3060 should be a good jump from what you have, if you can find one.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

Thanks!

I wasn't planning to buy a new gpu anytime soon, especially not during these times. I was just looking to see if when gpu prices fall a little, what would be a good upgrade from a gpu or any other parts in the system.

But thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah 3060 / ti is the logical steps. You can also get used 2060 or RX5600xt.
