The coolers have bracket systems that come with them that evenly distribute the wight of CPU tower coolers. WEight should not be a concern for your motherboard regardless of the size of the board or cooler. 

 

Essentially, no CPU cooler will break your board unless you're transporting it and it shakes around a LOT
