When the interest in GPU crypto mining ends/subsides and when the silicon production catches up with the demand too.

So who knows when that will happen.

So I’m wondering when the gpu shortages will end does anyone have a idea like in 1 month or 6 months or even like 2 years does anyone have a guess when it will end

Not soon. We need to wait for crypto mining to stop/subside.

Not any time soon. Certainly not next month or two months away from now. Most probably you will be able to get a RTX 3000 card when the mining craze subsides or the next gen cards arrive, thus lowering the interest for current gen ones.

I would like to say Q3 - Q4 2021, buts thats not happening. its entirely unknown. Until this mining craze stops, and NVIDIA and AMD can keep up with demand, we are stuck with nothing basically.

Now if you want a GT 1030, there is no GPU shortage! Have fun!

We dont know its as simple as that. if there is a mining crash or the general chip shortage subsides then we might see prices and stock return to normal.

Buddy it doesn't end.

It gets better. It will rain in Taiwan or covid vaccines will make it everywhere or supply will finally ramp back up from those, or crypto will go down in value or we won't be in the midst of a console launch pushing demand.... But something else will happen.

The chip/processor/pc component market will be a volatile one for at least the next decade. It will have lows but it *will* have highs. You will continue to scrap against big tech as they continue to do reverse alchemy getting paper from precious metals, while a scorned mother earth continues to hurl disaster after extremity.

Getting a great value on a graphics card involves price history graphs starting yesterday.
