My pc random restarts

My pc is randomly restarting, it started a couple of days ago at night but now it's happening throughout the day. If it helps I'm plugged in though a surge protecter and I have a 500watt power supply

Could be a plethora of things, but best bet if it's just randomly restarting, probably a faulty capacitor in the PSU, try a different PSU and see what happens for a few days, if you have access to one. Also could be minor things like forgetting to set the ram profile in the BIOS causing instability, I did that once, wouldn't even get a BSOD, would just hard cut to power off and starting up again.

Thanks, and I just found out it doesn't restart in safe mode
