Best $150-200 CPU?

What I'm doing is light video editing and gaming at 60. My options are 10400/F, 3500X and 3600. Can you help me to choose? Also can't spend anything above $150 for the board.

3600, no contest. An ok B450 motherboard will cost well under $150 (USD or AUD).

3600 agreed. Get speedy ram itll help with the video editing.

I would go 3600 as it's slightly better for production and similar gamaing.

3500X don't bother, its simply not worth giving up multi-threading for such little difference.

The main issue now is getting a proper dGPU...

Id probalby go 10400, very simmilar performance, but you also get a igpu which can be nice. 

 

Also what video editing programs, some use the encoders on the cpus igpu for a big performance improvement, but some can use dgpus also.
