AMD Stock coolers.

Henry0161

i have a question and i am just now going to upgrade my cpu and motherboard. I'm going for the MSI MPG x570 with the ryzen 5 3600.

right now i have a ryzen 7 1700 with the stock cooler. and i was thinking because i believe the 3600 doesn't come with the RGB stealth cooler so i was thinking of putting the 1700 stock cooler on my new cpu.

does this work or do i have to use the one that comes in the box or can i use my old one?

The socket and mounting are all the same for 300,400,500 Ryzen chipsets. No need for changes.

Plus, the Wraith Spire RGB will make the 3600 run cooler than the stealth, so nice bonus!
