Computer booting to BIOS but not Windows

Hey guys I got a problem

I upgraded my computer from a 3600x to a 3900x. The computer was working perfectly fine before, but after I upgraded the CPU it will only boot to BIOS. I'm using a Asus Tuf X570 Gaming Plus Wifi Motherboard. Both my SSD and HDD are recognized but they aren't in the Boot Menu. I thought updating the bios would work but it hasn't.

Anyone know what the problem is?

try changing your csm settings under the boot section of the bios.

Just reset the bios.

Reset the bios settings, you can also try popping the cmos battery for a few seconds and putting it back in (note to completely unplug your pc)

If you can, do a bios flush with the latest version.

 

Also check that your memory runs at it's designed speed. I have a 3600mhz and if I don't set it in the bios, it tries to boot it at 2666 and windows won't start.

 

If none of this works you'll have to reinstall windows. Hope you still have the old cpu, put that back in, back up your important files and do the reinstall.
