Please help me choose between these 2 streaming devices

I am planning to buy a streaming device within a couple of months.

I have never used any such device before.

Suppose you are the customer which one of the following device will you choose/buy ?

Please also mention the reason behind your decision.

 

Fire TV Stick

Mi TV Box

 

Note : I do not have a 4K TV so I wont be able to take advantage of that feature.

I have no need or want for them, but if I had to I’d buy both to test them out to see which does what I want it to do.

If I buy them both there is no point in doing research. If the picture quality is good in both the devices the only thing that is left for consideration is longevity. I created this topic so that people who have used both devices can give me some tips.

Strictly for streaming? Firestick, no brainer.

 

It's cheap and works, I have three. It breaking is pretty much unheard of.

I just want to gain some knowledge. Under which circumstances is the Mi TV Box better than the Firestick ?
