arctic p12 vs Corsair ML120 Pro

Wateeeerrr

Which fan is better? Its because I am looking at the corsair 4000d case and it has the Corsair ML120 pro fans and Im thinking if I should add on to the case or remove the Corsair ML120 pro as a whole.

P12s are for static pressure, ML120 are, iirc, a mix of both pressure and airflow fans. I would lean more to the ML120 side unelss you are pushing through a radiator. I have 2 ML140 in the front of my case and they run quiet and have had no issues with temperatures.

Edit: is this the 4000d airflow?

finally escaped fm2+

I know p12s are for static pressure but people are reccomending them as case fans too so I was debating to replace all of the fans or keep them, so thank you.

p12's are great all-around options for basically anything. They're most notable for static airflow, but they're just good fans, especially for the price. The ml120 pros aren't bad either. I wouldn't remove them unless you care about the aesthetic or want fan uniformity

Not really. I don't know what you mean about that, but it shouldn't have very many detrimental effects.

I would buy the Corsair 4000D and see if you like the fans that come with it.  If you do, buy more of them. I can tell you about a decade ago, I would buy fans based on someone else’s recommendation or a review I saw, to only be extremely disappointed. Someone would claim “these are better than Noctua” as often said, but all I hear is an annoying buzz coming from the hub, or they would just drone. It did spark an unhealthy obsession and I also figured out I am much more sensitive to noise than most.

So, I would see if you like the fans in the case first. If they bother you, then look at something else. Maybe buy 1 of a different model, if you like it, buy more of them.

We recommend P12 because it's decent and cheap, not that you should replace every fan with them.
