Minecraft/Coding PC Build

Nucker

Budget (including currency): £700

Country: England

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I will be coding Java (mainly Minecraft plugins and mods), javascript foe websites and discord bots as well as playing minecraft and I would like to be able to record/stream. I plan to run Windows.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I want to be able to get the parts so that I can be finished building within a few weeks. It would be nice if I could have 2-4 terabytes of storage and 8 but maybe 16 gigs of ram but im not sure.

16 gigs of ram are the least you should go with if you want to programm/record, play minecraft.

the cpu and case has them included, but the old 1600 is a poor choice in 2021. the 10400F or 12nm 1600 would be much better.

just tried  to keep it under budget both would have been too expensive, also not that it matters but it has a better cooler than the 12nm if he’s interested in oc

Hi, so when talking to my friends about the parts, they said that it wasn't worth buying a computer now as the GPU is too expensive for the performance you get. I understand there is a chip shortage in the US that may be the reason of these inflated prices. My main question is that, how long should I wait, but that's not really a predictable answer. What do I need to wait for. Am I to hear that GPU prices are going down or the new release of one that hasn't gone out of stock. If someone could explain exactly what I should do, that would be really helpful
