Expand the status update and then open the quote.

Quote to open normally.

if you expand the quote first and then the read more the issue does not occur.

It's a known issue when expanding spoilers if you expand the post first and iirc requires IPS (the forum software devs) to fix.

 

What is interesting is how some of the buttons are hidden behind the image but others aren't
