vWORMHAT

So an EVGA 650w power supply failed the paper clip test and seems to be broken, already bought a new one and installed it and its working great. Did some googling and cant find an answered to my question do i just throw it away?

If it doesn't cost me anything id be willing to donate it or something i know its not a car battery but it feels wrong to put it in the trash so anyone know what i should do with it?

Thanks

Best buy does electronics recycling, other tech repair shops in your area might also, so call a couple places if you don't find something nearby.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

My local transfer site has an electronics bin, that’s what I do with broken items. If it’s still within warranty, contact EVGA first to see if they will send you a replacement. Even if you don’t need it, a spare power supply for troubleshooting is always handy.
