Posted February 2, 2021 For example- A GTX 1050(4gb laptop) is running 500mhz faster than a GTX 1050ti(4gb laptop) , Will GTX 1050 perform better ??
Posted February 2, 2021 clock speed doesn't really have much relation to how a gpu performs but rather just the speed the gpu itself is clocked at. There are plenty of gpu's from over a decade ago that run at the same clock speeds as modern gpu's but are 10 times slower than a modern gpu. Posted February 2, 2021 On a given card type you will get higher performance with higher clocks, but you can't compare different cards only based on that. Posted February 2, 2021 In theory a 1050 could beat a 1050 ti with enough of a clock boost. I assume the 1050 ti is a Max-Q? Considering modern GPUs allow themselves to boost past the advertised boost clock, I would expect the 1050 ti to be better.
