Hello I am having troble with my gpu. When I play Fortnite my game freezes for a second. I thinked that it was because of my GPU because the fps did not drop so I benchmarked with Heaven. My max fps was 299. and the min was 9 wich is the problem. The freeze happens because of the GPU in my opinion. My pc setup is brand new ( 1 month). I updated all drivers. I did whatever I can. But the problem is still there. I think my Motherboard doesnt support gen4 maybe thats the reaseon idk.

Zotac GTX 1660 super

ryzen 5 3600x

MSI B450M a pro max (might be cause of the motherbaord because its bad)

2x 8gb 3000mhz

Nope I didnt but any fix?

you did actually. Your heaven score and this post are about identical problems. your frames. Im just trying to let you know that as someone using the same card and the intel counterpart of your cpu you're right on point and its normal. If you dont want that short pause in frames you have to lower your settings otherwise you deal with it for a few minutes while it catches up. I understand why you're freakin out a bit but you're good so just relax. None of your components are top of the line so its completely normal for brief pauses or moments of lag when loading up newer games like fortnite. It bugs me too but I just let it go cuz it evens out in just a minute or two.
