Different cables for my modulair psu

Go to solution Solved by IkeaGnome,

ONLY get cables made for TXM or similar. Even Corsair uses different pins on different PSUs. On the motherboard, gpu end cables will all be the same. PSU side they're different.

Hi peeps,

I have a Corsair TX750M PSU, and I'm looking to replace the cables since I want whites ones instead of black. Do I just need to find the same cables (one for my GPU, one CPU, some sata power and molex), or do I need to look at specific power cables. Are they all the same? Can I use non corsair brand cables on a corsair psu? Thanks for the help 😄

The only difference between Type 3 and Type 4 is the 24-pin.  And since his PSU is semi-modular, he won't be replacing that cable.

Honestly, I can't make any sense of it. I'm not that good with tech stuff. Any chance you could link me compatible white cables, or give me the exact name for the cables i'd need?

Replace "TXM" with "Corsair".

Ignore it. It's superfluous information that you didn't ask for.

Just make sure the cables you get are "Corsair compatible".
