Titan Black Water Block?

Go to solution Solved by Nit3Rid3R,

Hey forum!

Has anyone found a genuine titan black water block? I can't seem to find one...

Also, will some titan (original) water blocks work with titan black? EK FC might work but what about NVXP due to extra VRAM?

its titan, gtx 780/gtx 780ti all the same. black is just a processor update from

the older titan. oh and they painted the heat sink.

No, they are not. The Titan and reference 780 share the same PCB while the Titan Black and the reference 780Ti share the same PCB. So you can get reference 780Ti blocks for the Titan Black but be aware that backplates may not all be compatible due to the extra vram on the back of the Titan Black.

They didn't even paint the heatsink, just made the name "Titan" Black.

That was the most disappointing part about the card. Everything else was great though.

I think there's one extra capacitor on the pcb that the reference titan/780 don't have.

@VSG explained it great.  And yeah I agree about the black thing, they should of painted the entire thing black, it would of looked insane with an EK backplate.
