Hello everyone

This suddenly happened (picture 1) to my laptop and it won't go away

So I decided to reinstall windows on my C drive,  but everytime I try this message appears (picture 2) and I'm unable to reinstall windows on my C drive

Error message 1 (picture 1): repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete

Error message 2 (picture 2): windows setup could not reintialize the development engine. To install Windows,  restart the installation

Any ideas on how to fix my laptop ?

Boot from a Linux live USB and see if that works.  If Linux works your pc is fine, then take your drive out, delete the partitions, format it not using the quick option and put it back on your laptop.

Also find another copy of windows to use.

image/clone the drive on another system, put the image on a new drive, boot from that drive.

This will not come back without drastic measure as described, there is a time/run limit to get good clone/image with damaged drives.

Macrium or Clonezilla or EaseUS etc..
