New build, no signal, no keyboard lights, no beep

Mihnea04

I upgraded my PC with a new motherboard(ASRock h410M-ITX/ac) , i5 10400f and Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB 2666MHz DDR4 kit of 2 and outputs no signal on monitor, i think motherboard is dead.

My  graphics card is gtx 1060 6 gb and it definetly works.

My PSU has a 4 pin ATX and the motherboard has 4+4 ATX pins but in manual it says its ok...

Any help?

I would upgrade that power supply.  I don't even know what it is, but if it doesn't even have the bare minimum of a single 4+4 EPS connector for the CPU, it should be replaced.  I'm pretty confident you can get a unit for $50 or so.

If everything you have is working and it won't power on, something is probably not seated properly.  Check all the power connectors on everything, check to make sure the gpu is fully in the pcie slot, check the memory sticks are fully seated.

Edit: I checked Newegg, there are several units from EVGA, Corsair, and Thermaltake that are 500watts and under $50.  They will be 80+ white rated, but will be just fine for what you're doing.
