Ajrobocop

So I build my pc a couple years ago and it recently started running really slow when I do anything I listed some of my specs and I need help thanks.image.png.ca0110fc8b54a11924f48875c97441e1.png

I mean, your CPU is kinda getting dated now, as hardware ages, it gets slower as it is less optimised for the tasks you are performing. Doing a fresh install of windows might help, that's what I would do first after looking through task manager to see if something is eating up system resources.

honestly usually it's hdd / ssd / mobo / psu... if a pc randomly starts getting slower.

while I generally really don't recommend it, run a couple of userbenchmark tests and post results here... wouldn't surprise me if storage devices "perform bad"  which is a good sign there's something wrong.

Most of the time is windows getting messed up.  Format and start clean.

download userbenchmark and run it.

do it a couple of times to get conclusive results. then post the results here.

of course it would and it's not guaranteed to fix anything so should be a last resort kind of thing.

well... I need to see the whole test not just half of it... just post a link I guess.

But that doesn't look good...

still need to see what it says about each component obviously.

Ok, well, it's hard to say but I still suspect the SSD, and possibly the HDD too tbh...

Get a cheap crucial mx500, remove both drives and install windows on the mx500... it's a bit of a shot in the dark but chances are that fixes your issues... I doubt every component in your pc is bad, just the hard drives dragging it down...

What happens if you run the test more often, is it always a similar result or does it change sometimes?

just curious... otherwise seriously try with a good hard drive (mx500 is *very* good and pretty cheap)

it has the same result every time and is there a way I can transfer my data to the mx500 if I do get it because I use a lot of storage

yeah you can clone or copy your stuff - but you should really try with a fresh install on the new hard drive first, just remove your old drives, store them somewhere safe, your data will still be there if you need it later.
