Need some help for a new build

liangwj18

Budget (including currency): 3000-4000CAD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  Random 3A games.

Other details budge include monitor, and I have a question about 1440p and 4k, for size like 27 inches, does it make any difference?

The size and resolution of the monitor will affect pixel density. Are you planning on playing competitive fps/multiplayer games or more casual singleplayer games? That should inform whether you go for a monitor with high resolution or high refresh rate.

I'm thinking something like this

  • any atx case
  • ryzen 5600x with stock cooler or 5800x with black hyper 212 cooler
  • any atx b550 motherboard
  • any 16gb (2x8gb) 3600mhz cl16 ram
  • any 1tb m.2 ssd
  • any 750w or maybe 850w power supply with a good 80+ rating and preferrably fully modular
  • whatever rtx 3000 card you can get your hands on

SPEC LIST:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X w/ NZXT Kraken Z73 360mm Liquid Cooler
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4 x 8GB) 5000MHz CL18
  • Motherboard: MSI MEG X570 Godlike
  • SSD: Samsung 980 Pro PCIe 4.0 1TB (x3)
  • PSU: Corsair AX1600i
  • Case: NZXT H710
  • Monitor: Alienware AW2521H 25inch 360Hz 1ms

Ok go for the build I mentioned with the most affordable 4K 60hz monitor, chose the 5600x and get the highest RTX 3000 that fits in the budget
