Random 1-2 second freezes while gaming on Acer Nitro 5 Laptop

revdeath

Hello, I own a 2018 model Acer Nitro 5(AN515-52) laptop which had caused me many issues in the past I managed to fix, but there is a very annoying issue I am suffering from while gaming on it. In games I just experience random system freezes(not even cursor answers my input) for 1 or 2 seconds and I fail to detect what causes this issue. I don't know how to check my SSD or HDD health, I only fixed its thermal throttling with a friend using ThrottleStop. Either the game is on SSD or HDD, I don't think it matters because it occurs in CS:GO as well which is installed on my HDD meanwhile the most problematic game I am playing, is on my 128GB SSD. I just can't figure out what causes this issue and I need professional help. The freeze occurs in the middle of the game randomly and when freeze is over, I am back to the smooth(60 FPS or over) experience which is extremely annoying. My temperatures are fine, CPU staying lower than 89 Celsius and GPU never goes above 82 Celsius while gaming.

Here are my specs:
Intel i5 8th generation i5-8300h(Limited Turbo Boost to 3.0GHZ)
NVIDIA GTX 1050TI 4GB GDDR5
1x8GB 2666Mhz DDR4 SK Hynix RAM
128GB SK Hynix M.2 SSD
1TB 5400 RPM Toshiba HDD
No idea about my motherboard, never checked.
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit operation system
Pls help...

What are your setting? Are you playing uncapped fps?

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

On CS:GO my graphics are almost maxed out and I get about 110-120 FPS while playing and I don't think FPS is capped. The other game is capped to 60 FPS by default.

Ok what is the CPU usage? Can you try capping the FPS to 60 in CS:GO and see if the stutters go away?
