Need program for editing PDF documents

Go to solution Solved by Exidor,

I mean depending how much you are willing to spend........

But this is the last one I know that sells a license vs a subscription.

https://pdf-xchange.eu/index.php

I have no clue if this runs on Linux

I need a program for editing PDF documents.

Free, open-source and native Linux support would be ideal but paid ( not subscription ) on Windows with Wine compatibility would also be Ok.

Thanks

if there’s still a question please ask

Maybe try PDF Architect 8 or PDF creator.

thanks for your help

@nadgob73 pdf 8 has the editing feature only in their pro version that needs a yearly subscribtion

PDF creator doesn't allow to edit the text itself, which is what I want ( maybe I should have made that more clearly )

but still thanks for trying to help me

I forgot to mention that you can also open PDFs with MS Word, but it would force convert the format to .docx and some text might be moved around. And you probably won't be able to edit scanned PDFs. You can then edit text and export it as pdf. This might sound stupid but you could convert a PDF to .jpeg or some other photo format and then edit it with Photoshop or something like it.

I also hope you didn't waste too much time and effort in the programs that I previously suggested and wish you a good luck finding a program that you need, if there exists one.

no I didn't. A quick look at the list of features and the price tag was enough

@Drama Lama Foxit also has a one time purchase PDF editor https://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf-editor/.

Thanks a lot 140€ is maybe a little too expensive for me but it has a free trial for testing, which means that I can test wether all the features that I want are included
