Dumb Question but will 3200mhz ram work with my mobo

I have a https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/A320M-PRO-VDS-V2/Overview
I want to buy 3200mhz ram but on the website for my motherboard it says Support DDR4 1866/2133/2400/2667 Mhz but it doesn't say 3200mhz anywhere and there is nothing about OC anywhere so can i use it? will it just lower the clock speed on it or whatever? if yes. Is it possible to run it in 3200mhz and would that give me better performance?

The non v2 version of this motherboard says it supports 3200mhz OC

Should be possible, you just need to enable XMP in BIOS and the RAM should run at 3200. Otherwise it runs at the standars frequency, probably around 2100.

No problem man, but if I were you I'd wait a  few more hours, maybe someone with a different thought on this topic replies and proves me wrong... Theoretically there should be something like a supported RAM list on the MB website, search for that and make sure your RAM is listed.

it will work. it might not work at 3200, in which case you'll have to manually find the frequency at which it works. it also depends on what cpu you use.

it was part of my prebuilt which i am slowly upgrading
it wouldnt be my first choise for a motherboard

The next thing you should upgrade would be a new MB, something like a x570 or B550 for the new ryzen

According to this page, XMP can make it run up to 3200 MHz for your motherboard. I just hope that isn't an error on the page.
