Trying to OC 5700xt (strix) in AMD Global Tuning

Hey i'm new to it but trying to OC my GPU with Clock speed incrementals of 10mhz, however under "Fine tuning Controls" in P3 i have to set a frequency number higher than what the clock speed shows
For example
with 1200mv
P3 2150 = 2085mhz
That is also the highest i can set it to.
I've read that some cards can go higher, what am i missing?

mV:1200 and Mhz:2150 is the highest i can set it to is that true?
i am using this guide and Unigine Valley for benchmark with HWinfo64 to see performance

my 5700XT strix does not go higher than that. also 2075mhz and 1.1V (undervolt) is great and stable with my card. 

 

5700XT is limited to 1.2V. You should do a Vbios update. for me it did next to nothing. 

because 5700XT is limited ti 1.2V I cannot get over 2100mhz. usually at 2050-2080mhz.

 

ALSO VRM overclock really bad. 103% is stable. 104% is not.

how do i do a Vbios update and what will it do?

 

should i max out frequency and try to lower Voltage(in 10's)? 
And if yes, should i do it before or after tinkering with the other options aka VRAM, Power limit and fan tuning?

first try with the max frequenzy and voltage, stress test to see if stable.. if it is stable try to lower voltage by 0.010 every step.

I messed around with my 5700xt strix (on an EK waterblock) for ages when I first got it and tbh it performs best at stock. If you're not water cooling it then I'd suggest an undervolt perhaps, but the headroom over the stock settings with the stock power limitations basically wasnt worth it - I got lots of crashes when gaming.
