Looking for a very affordable high-refresh-rate monitor

Resolution: 1080p or 1440p (I would much prefer the latter)

Size: Nothing over 22" 1080p or 30" 1440p (I want acceptable pixel density)

Input: HDMI is preferred, I can deal with Display Port.

Refresh rate: 100Hz+ for 1440p or 144Hz+ for 1080p (though 120Hz would be okay if it were 21:9)

Budget: $300-$350 CAD (I know that's not much, but we don't all pick our passions/interests in light of out financial situation)

I currently have a 1080p 60Hz monitor (running it at 65Hz) and while it's a lot batter than what came before, I think I'm ready to upgrade to something nicer. High refresh rate caught my eye as I mostly play Minecraft and even my pinner GPU can push out 100+ FPS easily; it would be nice to take advantage of that. (I also want to upgrade said GPU at some point.)

What is actually supposed to go here? Some people put their specs, others put random comments or remarks about themselves or others, and there are a few who put cryptic statements.

See if anything in the list that meets ur requirements is available in ur location within budget.

The  Gigabyte G34WQC is $399 and is 3440 x 1440 at 34", 144hz. Effectively a wider 2560 x 1440 27" display.

Its actually really good for the price.

The Gigabyte monitor is really nice, but also costs about $500 CAD. I found this decent-looking AOC monitor: https://www.amazon.ca/AOC-CQ27G2-Computer-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=AOC+CQ27G2&qid=1610681042&sr=8-1

Still not sure if I'll order it, but looks good. That site you mentioned is really helpful, thanks.

What video card do you have?  If it doesn't support hdmi 1.3 you won't be running 1440 at 144hz but could sacrifice some colors or chroma. If the card does hdmi 2.1 you will be fine, but for higher refresh and full support you want display port or hdmi 2.1.

Main Computer: CPU - Ryzen 5 5900x Cooler - NZXT Kraken x53  RAM - 32GB Corsairsrair Vengeance Pro GPU - Zotac RTX 3070 Case - Lian Li LanCool II RGB (White) Storage - 1TB Inland Premium M.2 SSD and 2x WD 2TB Black.

Backup Computer: CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x Cooler - CoolerMaster ML240 V2 RAM - 32GB G.Skill RipJaws GPU - Gigabyte GTX 1070 FE Case - Cougar QBX Storage - 500GB WD Black M.2 SSD

I currently have a GT 1030 (HDMI 2.0), but if I got a new monitor I would probably also get a GTX 1050 (DP 1.4) or similar.
