difference between 2 gpu blocks?


hey guys, ive found out that my gigabyte r9 290 windforce edition is compatiable with this block

They appear to be the same

Looks like the only difference is covering over the second one. Otherwise they look like the same block to me. Looking at EK's website they dont mention any other differences between them

cheers, i wouldnt mind the first one but its actually more expensive by about 10 dollars for some weird reason in nz, and the full cover block just looks better :L

they require different types for bridge connectors

 

the main functional difference is how fittings attach to them.
