insanely high temps with hardware info.

Bruh1

Um , I was running a casual stress test to test a cpu cooler i installed like 3 weeks ago but didnt use my pc since.

The overall package of the cpu is running at 65c on full load, which is very reasonable,

But hardware monitor is reporting this temperature..... https://gyazo.com/b6051961f2ab187ec9cbf8c81125edc5

Is this even possible?

My cpu cooler is Noctua nh-u12s

Cpu : Ryzen 5 3600.

Maybe i put way too little Thermal paste while installing the cpu?

if the chip really reached those temperatures it would be a liquid right now. or atleast the substrate would be.

just a bug with that specific piece of software reading out the temps. This is why you always check with more than one when temps seem off.

Did it go to sleep? If it did it probably read the sensors wrong. I've seen crazy numbers too after sleep.
