DRAM less SSD good for game storage?

Go to solution Solved by Senzelian,

DRAM-less doesn't mean cache-less.

The SU630 for example has the ability to use pSLC (pseudo-SLC) caching.

Anyway, as a game-drive it should be fine either way. You're mostly reading from a drive with only games on it, so you won't notice any performance difference.

I'm from Costa Rica and basically all the SATA SSDs I can buy are DRAM less. I'm planning to get a 1 TB SSD, a cheap one, just to storage games. I already have a decent VP100 from Patriot as a boot drive. Would it be a good idea?
