get a fresh windows boot drive or USB drive with windows 10 on it.

That could maybe help, if you have one.

Boot into it and then get the files, if you can?

If you factory reset your computer, it should make you log back into your Microsoft account and assign your own password. It doesn't just create its own user account with a random password it doesn't tell you. Not really sure how this happened.

Your best bet would be to make a USB installer and create a fresh installation that way. No other way you're getting past that password.

I doubt OP cares about the files on the device if it was already factory reset.

I mostly speak from my own past experience from similar problems. My solution may not work for you, but I'll always try my best to help as much as I can. If you want me to see your reply, make sure to quote my comment or mention me @WaggishOhio383, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

In that case, a fresh install from USB is going to be your best bet. If you don't already have a Windows 10 PC, do you have another computer you can use to make one?

You can either do a new clean install or enable built in administrator account.

To do that latter, refer to this guide: link (Try option 5)
