nvidia recommends 650w for that card so id do that.

you may want to swap you drive out for a 970 evo its the same price and a bit faster

id either go for a cheaper motherboard since youre not using some of the features ot a 500 series more expensive one that utilizes pce gen 4 for your 3060

probably want to ditch the cooler. Amd cpus come with one and the one you picked wouldnt do any better

otherwise everything else looks good

OUTDATED JAN 2021 ===========> Check out my pc building guide! might be useful tho

It's great for planning new builds, getting a reference on where to start, or seeing what you need to play what games.

It also shows what I recommend for upgrading your stuff!

cpu - ryzen 5 3600

gpu - gtx 1070

ram - (2x8) 3200mhz

ssd - 970 evo plus 500gb

ssd2 - 860 qvo 1tb

mobo - asrock b450m hdv r4.0

psu - evga b5 550w bronze

Have a look at this

The pure rock slim really isn't anything special, I suggest keeping the stock cooler of the 3600 instead. You can get a slightly cheaper motherboard and SSD, and get a higher quality power supply. The monitor you picked is a bit expensive for a mere 1080p 60Hz option, I suggest looking to the used market and then saving up for something like this, a high refresh rate monitor.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

cheaper MB or a 500 series so up can upgrade CPU in the future.

650W would be nice, but 600 can do too.

But if you find a higher W for cheaper with a good rating, then more is better ;)

for coolers, the standard AMD one should do okey or go with an AIO cooler.

The list that Fasauceome posted seems good to me. But you don’t need to buy a windows key at full price. You can buy them from eBay (or other key selling sites) for significantly less and with buyer protection, if it doesn’t work you can get a refund.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Quote or tag me so I can see your response
