why does the 4770k only have 4 threads?

no hyperthreading???

They'd have disabled it to get the overclock ;)

but it would still say 8 threads even if its disabled....

Pretty sure it goes down to 4 when HT is disabled. I doubt that they are taking away hyperthreading.
