Posted December 20, 2020 Trying to get an MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 VENTUS XS OCV1 4GB GDDR6 working on an old Asus Prebuild (M11BB), with a F2A55-M motherboard. I only got the card because it's been stated it can run perfectly well without the external 6-pin power supply (the default PSU doesn't have one), however after installing the card in the PCIe x16 1.0 slot, there's no fans, lights, device manager, no anything to show the gfx card has been recognised at all. Pretty sure that Ventus model will not run without the PCIe cable connected. And if you're confusing it with the 1650 super, that's a different story because every 1650 super will require the 6 pin connector.
