Enormous

Hello, I'm looking for a new cpu for gaming and some works ( video editing ) which I'm going to use it for more 2-3 years. My current cpu is i7-2600K which is really old. Or should I upgrade my gpu instead ( my gpu is rx 480 8 gb ) ?

Thanks

Intel Core i7-2600K

3.4 GHz, 4C 8T, 95 W

PassMark single core CPU score: 1,740

PassMark multi core CPU score: 11,560

AMD Ryzen 5 2600

3.4 GHz, 6C 12T, 65 W

PassMark single core CPU score: 2,260 (30% quicker)

PassMark multi core CPU score: 25,760 (123% quicker)

Intel Core i3-10100F

3.6 GHz, 4C 8T, 65 W

PassMark single core CPU score: 2,600 (49% quicker)

PassMark multi core CPU score: 15,910 (38% quicker)

The Intel CPU will be better for gaming and the AMD CPU will be better for video editing.
