The CPU being overclockable is almost certainly a maybe, only a few Xeons are unlocked, but some older ones can be baseclock overclocked on older platforms, we'll need the processor code to know for sure.

Some LGA1366 Xeons are overclockable; the X56xx line I think.

I don't believe there has been an overclockable Xeon since, with the exception of the W-3175x. Though some people clam that they've overclocked E5-16xx on certain motherboards.

I got two 8-core Xeon e5-2690v2 CPUs in my machine, base 3gHz and turbo to 3.8. Some are limited to their FACTORY TURBO FREQUENCIES while some are not, depending on model and motherboard you're using.

what gpu are you using? is gtx 1660 super, a good gpu for intel xeon?

I'm using a 6800XT. It doesn't get bottlenecked at all.

Probably does not bottlneck at all cores but most probably bottleneck at single core? what are your core usages? Xreon is pretty bad for gaming since they have pretty bad single core performance.

Mine has good single core performance, and watching core usage, there seem to be no bottlenecks while gaming, even on demanding and CPU heavy games like MFS2020. The main purpose of my machine is for CAD and I mainly do gaming on the side, but in the few games I have tested it has good single core performance because it can reach around 3.8gHz per core, and it's hyperthreaded.

What resolution are you using? That's the most important thing, when talking about bottlenecking

CPU: Ryzen 5800X3D | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Elite V2 | RAM: G.Skill Aegis 2x16gb 3200 @3600mhz | PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750 G3 | Monitor: LG 27GL850-B , Samsung C27HG70 |
GPU: Red Devil RX 7900XT | Sound: Odac + Fiio E09K | Case: Fractal Design R6 TG Blackout |Storage: MP510 960gb and 860 Evo 500gb | Cooling: CPU: Noctua NH-D15 with one fan

FS in Denmark/EU:

Asus Dual GTX 1060 3GB. Used maximum 4 months total. Looks like new. Card never opened. Give me a price.

Ok then, that's the reason for your no bottlenecking situation
